IN WHAT FORMAT IS CROSS COUNTRY GOLF PLAYED?

Sthis time we will play 15 specially arranged golf holes in FLORIDA SCRAMBLE format (3-4 players per team). NB! Cross Country means that golf holes are played all mixed up according to a special scheme, giving you a unique opportunity to play a completely new game. The Committee has created a criss-cross game plan for you on the Otepää golf course, and this time the course plan is truly exciting.

After the game, enjoy Wild West-style music by DJ KARLIS, along with themed catering at the Club Restaurant, which this time will transform into the Gold Diggers’ Roadhouse, just like in the old Wild West.

Sponsors of Otepää Golf Center participate for free.

The participation fee is …€ for players with playing rights and …€ for players without playing rights, which includes golf according to the Cross Country special course plan, catering, light on-course refreshments, water bottles, and a range token.

Hole 1 Par 5
The tee shot is taken from the 18th hole tee box, aiming to reach the 10th hole green. The men’s tee box is located near the restroom. The distance to the flag is 350m. The women’s, veterans’, and U12 juniors’ tee box is located near the sand pile. The distance from the tee to the flag is 320m.

Hole 2 Par 4

The tee shot is taken from the 11th hole tee box, aiming to reach the 13th hole green. The men’s tee box is located at the back of the teeing area. The distance to the flag is 225m. The women’s, U12 juniors’, and veterans’ tee box is located at the front of the teeing area. The distance to the flag is 117m.

Hole 3 Par 5

The tee shot is taken from the 14th tee box, aiming to reach the 15th green. You must play to the left of the birches on the 14th hole (birches near the 200m marker). If you go to the right, the ball is automatically out of bounds. The birches are an obstacle marking the out-of-bounds line, and you must play past them on the left to avoid going out of bounds. The men’s tee box is located on the 14th hole’s yellow tee. The distance to the flag is 430m. The women’s, U12 juniors’, and veterans’ tee box is on the 14th hole’s red tee. The distance to the flag is 375m.

Hole 4 Par 3

The tee shot is taken from the ‘Bear Pit’ hole in front of the 16th hole green, aiming to hit the flagstick on the 16th hole green. Men, women, juniors, and veterans share a common teeing area. The distance is 5-10 meters.

Hole 5 Par 7

The tee shot is taken from the 17th tee box, aiming to reach the 1st hole green. On the driving range, there are out-of-bounds markers parallel to the course; if the ball crosses that line, it is considered out of bounds. The men’s tee box is located on the 17th hole’s women’s tee. The distance to the flag is 720m. The women’s, U12 juniors’, and veterans’ tee box is located in the 17th hole’s drop zone. The distance to the flag is 638m.

Hole 6 Par 3

The tee shot is taken from the 2nd tee box, aiming to reach the 8th green. The men’s tee box is located at the front of the second hole’s tee box. The distance to the flag is 145m. The women’s, U12 juniors’, and veterans’ tee box is located on the red tee. The distance to the flag is 115m.

Hole 7 Par 3

The tee shot is taken from the left edge of the 2nd hole’s fairway, aiming to reach the 2nd hole’s green.

The men’s tee box is located in the rough at the edge of the fairway. The distance to the flag is 135m. The women’s, U12 juniors’, and veterans’ tee box is also located in the rough at the edge of the fairway. The distance to the flag is 115m.

Hole 8 Par 5

The tee shot is taken from the third hole tee box, aiming to reach the fourth hole green. The men’s tee box is located at the back right of the 3rd hole’s tee box. The distance to the flag is 355m.
